Lend and Tend
Garden Share: It's Gardening Season Again!
If that idea doesn't fill you with 100% joy, how about letting someone else use a patch of spare ground to grow some vegetables? Perhaps share your veggie knowhow with a novice and eat some of the produce?
There is an organisation called LEND and TEND run by Joyce Veheary who matches garden owners with people without enough ground to grow a tattie or two. She is more than happy to help us with matching people who would like to garden share. If you would like to take part in this project, either as a garden owner or a garden tender fill in the form on the website or call 07504 488873. Joyce is seeing a growing number of people wanting to be lenders or tenders. She offers this service on a voluntary basis and operates a "Pay-What-You-Can"basis. The suggested donation is £12.99.
